Here’s one more model which has surprisingly been waiting to be presented here: Krell, the Lord of Undeath.
Definitely more interesting than the old version (or not?):
Hi!
I’m working on my second mini, but I just want to go back for a second and show you my first model from my personal project “12 minis in 12 months” I started in January.
It’s simple… One model per month: single, mounted, simple or difficult, I don’t know yet 🙂
Anyway, I want to motivate myself to paint more and more and more… Of course meanwhile I’ll paint other minis, I hope 🙂
Mini #1 – January.
Skeleton Warrior.
Best regards!

Hi everyone,
one of the biggest motivation factors for me is the possibility to play with miniatures. If a painted unit should take place in a campaign – that is even better!
Together with a friend we are playing Games Workshop’s Sigmar’s Blood campaign. For the third battle I needed some special forces 🙂
Some impressions from the units on the battlefield:
If there is anyone interested in reading more about the campaign, just write a comment under the article. I’ll write something next time 🙂

And so the undead army raises! I have finished painting two Vampire Counts characters – Krell and a extra Necromancer. There is never enough of those 😉
You can see more from my von Carstein’s Vampire Counts here. Currently I have painted about 3000 points, most of them are characters so I will have to finish some units soon to make the army playable.
Krell is of course from Games Workshop and the girl is from Anima Tactics – a very nice and fast miniature to paint. And since there is an invasion of dragons here at Chest of Colors, I had to start paint one on my own. It a wyvern I know, but still it is a dragon like creature 🙂
I hope I can finish this biggy soon!

Welcome to my first blog-type post here at Chest of Colors! I will try to show you my progress in becoming a better painter. I am a big fan of skirmish games like Hell Dorado, Mordheim or Necromunda. My favourite miniatures come from Confrontation. Ok, lets see what’s happening at my workbench…
Recently I have been playing a lot of Necromunda and here is my Escher band, whose name is Spice Girls.
More pictures from the beginning of painting the warband you can see at forum here. The girls are almost ready so at my desk is this guy for my raising Vampire Counts army. The new Krell from Games Workshop. I was that lucky that I didn’t have to fill any gaps, so it really was a finecast 🙂 More skeletons and vampires you can find here.
And a little teaser what I got myself and hopefully will present to you see.
Enough talking, time for some painting 😉 see you next time!
