I did not paint anything from Mierce Miniatures for a while, so here is Mihtlaf, Morthorbera – a giant furious bear. He is ready to tear into pieces anyone who disrupts the silence of forest (in particular the one who leaves trash :)).
It was quite easy to paint as the fur was airbrushed, washed and then drybrushed, so it was a fast process.
As you can see it is quite large teddy bear.
Pétroyos, Lískarchon
I continue to paint reptiles from Mierce Miniatures with surplus body parts. After painting three headed hydra it’s time for 4 armed lizard – Pétroyos, Lískarchon. He is related to basilisks and have ability to petrify opponents – that is why I painted his eyes red. Besides, I love his evil reptile smile 😉
Three heads are better than one!
Some time ago I painted two headed hound from Mierce Miniatures. Now It’s time for three headed hydra – Khallas, Hydrakh of Ydron – also from Mierce Miniatures. This is really fine detailed miniature sculpted by talented Roberto Chaudon. It is based on 80mm round base, so the monster is neither too small nor to large.
Applying green base paint and basic highlighting with airbrush really helped to speed up the painting process. Even if most of the paintjob was done with a brush – enhancing shadows and highlights as well as painting details. For the base I used Vallejo Still Water as I cannot imagine hydra without water 🙂
I did not see this mini painted anywhere, but I guess this is good. This way I could use my imagination and creativity to paint her just as I imagined without copying other painter’s idea. Her – because this creature definitely looks like a female to me 🙂 Maybe because of long neck and specific head(s) position…. I just got that impression. And what do you think?
Blood-Maw
Recently I did not paint anything from Mierce Miniatures but this is about to change. Here comes Blood-Maw, Vore – a giant carnivore beast. With it’s powerful jaws it can devour any warrior in whole! Just look at it’s size – it is mounted on 100mm base.

Can a single, even the most courageous warrior stand against such beast?
Hmm, now the chances are equal as Blood-Maw meets Druc, Meat Hulk:
Equal because none of these can see his opponent 🙂
King of the swamp
Here is Aggrakk from Mierce Miniatures. It is quite large piece of reptile. He is mounted on 60mm base and is 65 mm high. Painting his skin scale by scale took me a “little” time but I like the final effect. This is the first miniature base that I used Vallejo Still Water. I added a drop of sepia ink to make it more swampy.
