I present you my recently painted Mordred of Muspelsheim Wyrm’s Bane from RedBox Games. I practised painting NMM gold on his armor, as he has really a lot of it.
Another Norse wave
Bolverk the Bold and Ragnar of Utherby – another cool miniatures from Red Box Games finished. Those fiercely looking Vikings eagerly join my Norse raiding warband.
Wolf pack
Recently I painted one big wolf, now it’s time for 3 smaller ones. These are from RedBox Games. The metal miniatures had really prominent fur sculpture, so painting them was quite fast. After priming with light grey I applied black wash and then drybrushed with base color. After that I highlighted with precise brush individual strands of fur with progressively lighter grays (up to almost white). I wanted to paint really evil wolves, so I couldn’t resist to paint their eyes in bright red. To break the monotonous grey, I painted their noses and ears in shades of violet. The bases are made from pieces of cork with some static grass and various trash to simulate forest ground. Project “One wolf per one evening” came to an end 🙂

More Vikings!
I cannot resist to paint some Red Box Games minis once in a while. So here are Ingvar the Brash and Ulfgar of Utherby – Norse warriors.
It’s nice to see the warband growing 🙂 Soon it will be whole Longship crew!
