I finally finished undead Draugr squad of 6. I am almost done with Red Box Games undead warband. Why “almost”? Because there is always someone who summons the undead!

I continue to paint undead horde from Red Box Games. After finishing 9 zombies now I painted 3 of 6 Draugr – undead Viking warriors. Last 3 will come soon.

Here’s my RedBox Games bear, painted mostly by wash and drybrush method. The last highlights were made with precise brush. It was fast and pleasant paintjob.

Maybe it’s time to make some trees…

Another 5 zombies finished, which concludes the whole RedBox Games zombie set of 9. I really like the fact that each one is a unique sculpt. I also have 6 armed zombies (called Draugr), but I have enough undead for now. Maybe next month 🙂

Is there better enemy for fantasy heroes warband than pack of zombies? I guess not 🙂 So here are first 4 of RedBox Games zombie set. More will come soon (at least 5 more). These are my first zombies ever, so I’m still learning to paint them enough zombie-like. The skin is painted in light grey and shaded with green and purple glazes.
I wanted to place them in winter setting – just like the undead from Game of Thrones. I used frozen rolling pin to create base surface and colored ice plates gradually in shades of blue. The snow is from Army Painter.
