Almost two years after I painted his bear form, I finished Beowa in human form.

Here is big and armored bull – Ckaarakk (he has strange name also). I assembled him about 3 years ago, but just didn’t have mood to paint him. Maybe I was a little discouraged by a lot of armor to be painted. Anyway – I finished him and I am glad I did that 🙂
Here is Ckaarakk accompanied by my other miniatures from Formoraic fraction of Darklands world. You can see that he is quite big, even for minotaur.

When I was posting pictures of RBG bear and wolfes I wrote that maybe it’s time to make some trees. So here is one! A walking tree 🙂 It’s Araigh, Ancient of Sileann Fen from Mierce Miniatures. You would not want to find yourself in range of his gnarly arms!
The treeman was airbrushed with shades of brown, then washed and drybrushed. Afer that I painted the details – eyes, climber (veins?) in green and so on. Foliage is made of pieces of brown-green sponge, painted after attaching to the miniature.
I finished Creoda, Guthwulf – figure from Mierce Miniatures. This mini was wonderfully sculpted by Allan Carrasco based on this concept art from talented Stefan Kopinski:
The figure had fur texture, but apart from his neck and tail it was too subtle to use drybrush. I preshaded it with airbrush and then I randomly applied thin lines of lighter color, more or less corresponding with direction of sculpted hair. I wasn’t too precise, as I didn’t want to spend years painting every single hair. The finished effect is just fine for gaming miniature.
Here is how it looks with other finished miniatures from Anglecynn fraction in world of Darklands:
We are having hot summer in Poland, but in kingdom of Westeros harsh winter is coming 😉 So why not to paint a mini in a cold setting? Here is figure of Naraa from Mierce Miniatures. A lot of armor and fur!
