I finished this model a few days ago:

With colleagues from the PL forum, we decided that WIP looked too clean and too bright.
I tried to change it and added more dirt and shading. Maybe now it doesn't look like a Pokemon? ;)

Comments are welcome :rose:

Judging by the number of comments, this either left them speechless or they are afraid to say what they think :P

That thing is just fugley and II mean that in the most nurglish way. EEEEeeewewwwwwwwww!!!!

Not as ugly as your unclean one, but a pretty close second, to me just needs some oozey stuff flowing out of the vents on the shoulder pad. The wings look just a little "dry" for a nurgle spawned deamon prince. Again just my insignificant comment concerning Ana's terrific painting skills.

I got scared when I saw it, I was expecting some lucious babes ;)
Getting back into the thick (or rather thin as in thinning my paints) of it, not picked up a brush in some time so this may hurt a bit until I get used to the feel of them again

Somehow the fig doesn't completely convince me. There is so much going on that it's hard to focus.

I mean, It's a big fig and there are a lot of colors on it combined with a lot of details. So it looks a bit too busy in my opinion. Especially the area around the head. When you look at it piece by piece it's all great -although I'm not really a fan of the wings- but the whole doesn't tie together. My eyes are jumping from one element to another and another...

I'm a huge fan of your works Ana, and I don't mean to be harsh or anything. I'm just adding my personal opinion. Technique is great, but composition and choice of colors could be better.

Base is excellent btw.

Well i cant say I'm a big fan of this work, I will explain why and believe me when I say i will be totally honest about it and will not hold back.
( I think top painters should have the most picky comments in order to improve)
If I'm to harsh its not my intention :D

Convertion work:

-Wings sculpt are really a big let down i dont like them a single bit and just look like rushed and crude slabs of gs punched and streetched i would rate them 5/10

Paint work:

-collor choice is very dubious and looks like someone just got out of control with diferent colored washes, theres no focus except tons of diferent colors, also armour is confused with skin and tabard. 7/10

- wheatering and rust effects are just paint slabs with no care at all especially on the legs Back 6/10

- Base work is very original and i like ice effect 8/10

you can do better!

I believe she will be happy now. What she always wants is constructive criticism, and you guys provided that in the best CofC fashion.
THANKS A LOT!!
