Indeed, I'm very impressed aswell.
Is it a color mix you used there for the edge highlights or is it directly some kind blue grey (which I'd like to know which color it is exactly)?

I'm not entirely sure what you guys are referring to, but it's a simple 4-step highlight.

First mix is 1:1 black:dark blue, after that I start adding light-grey blue and finally some white.

If you want to know the exact color names (Vallejo Model Color) I can look them up if you want.

Well, it might be simple for you but wasn't clear for me :)

I hope it is clear now?

Actually I'm glad you like them. Personally I'm not always a big fan of edge highlighting. To be honest I think these figures look quite terrible on these pictures :) But I wanted to use this technique for a time and see how the final product looks.

Yeah, you are.
Perhaps for tabletop 4 step will surely be too much, but as for now, those looks great, and to be honest it inspired me for one of my mini and I'll have to give it a try cause as for now, I think it works really nicely and no, they're far from being terrible hehehe so final product look is awsome (but hey, that just me).
And yeah, when I looked at the Legion of the Damned of Games Workshop when they released it, I said on another forum: "woaw, so much of that, any 4yo kid could do the same job" (and I still think the same since the edge hightlights were brutal on those minis) but on yours, it's subtle, and looks awsome

I'll definitely need to have a go at your way of doing it
