So the cloak had been done already... Sorry about that then but the pics didn't show a whole lot there so it was an easy misktake to make! Hopefully no offence taken?

I love the technique on the oaken armour, but I think the first pic is better than the following WiP shots. the cold blue colours don't work with the warm browns of the armour, and it makes the great wood effect fade away. I would concider going for green / red / brown mixes for the entire model, because those blue and stark white contrasts just don't work on this colour scheme imho.

The cloak and the armour are really excellent. Pretty innovative and suitab le for wood elves!

Ofcourse not, none whatsoever..!

@ Mordred: Actually, in the first pic the armour looks a bit too bright and warm compared to the armour in real life. It was painted based on GW's Graveyard earth, so it's really a pretty sombre brown. The reason I won't use reds and greens overall, is because it's a winter theme and lets face it, reds and greens would kinda give him away.. You are right in that those colours would look great with a brown armour, but I just wanted a 'cold' model this time..

What does 'zenithal' mean, if I may ask, I don't know that word..?

concidering it's going to have a winter theme you are right, reds and greens wouldn't fit in the picture.

ps Zenithal means that the sun is directly above the model and thus that it looks as if the lightsource is coming from above.
