I've got most of the army in old miniatures from when I first started, a few I've picked up later. There's some new stuff in there as well, particularly vehicles. I'm always on the lookout for old Eldar stuff I don't have that other people don't want (because then it's cheap or free ;) )

I thought that older stuff would be more expensive...

Depends on the model, really. Compared to plastics the old metal stuff is more expensive, but basic troops can be picked up for £1 or so each and sometimes people just don't want the old miniatures so they actually give them away (though this is a rarer occurence these days). It always pays to have a bit of a rummage when you see second hand miniatures, very often the really old stuff gets put in with it unnoticed.

I know virtually nothing about the Kryomek universe so I had the freedom to do whatever I wanted with this mech. Would be interested to know what you all think about him.

Codenamed MNT-1, or Minty, because of his minty fresh colour scheme.

I've got another Talos and a Hellcat in my collection that will probably get the same paintscheme

I think that here the base is the best and the armour could be a bit more highlighted.

Just popping my head in to say I haven't disappeared, I've just been stupidly busy of late. If the camera is playing nicely I should have at least one miniature to update with tonight.

Hasslefree miniatures "Griffon".

Was bought this for my birthday last November so I'm pleased I finished it before my birthday this year. Nice miniature and I've gone with an understated paintjob and base since it felt right on this one.

Ooh, I like the work on the muscles and the details on the feathers. Nice stuff!

Thanks guys, I'm glad you like him. I think next up is that Slaanesh chopper bike I've been working on, it's nearly done now bar some fiddly details.
