I really like the reds and the base!! I can't really say much about the metallics as the lighting seems to flatten them, allthough I think they could use a bit more shading. Tips on golds (thanx to Tidoco2222): use thin washes of a dark brown and black to shade them. It works really well ;)

Good luck on painting the other 50 marines :D

oh and there are some moldlines left ;):P

The metallics are a bit bright, I would try to tone them down a bit. Also it's a shame you can still see some moldlines!

The reds are nice and bright!:)

Looks good so far, the base is especially nice and you have a very solid red which is difficult to achieve, to add to Tomaz's point about washes they work very well and with more practice you can realy age gold to make it look almost antique.
Another thing you can do is tarnish it a bit just add very small amounts of silver to your gold and this when applied sparingly to the model on raised edges and sharp points will give a great tarnished look. Most gold armour is for decoration being as it is a soft metal and wouldn't offer alot of protection, it is usually plated of a silver like base metal, therefore some of the base would show through on the edges and places where wear and tear would affect it.
Still a very nice looking model sir.
