Very bright and shiny Silver Metalic?

Post by Soren »

I am trying to pic the paints and the painting techniques for each of my knights in each of my GW armies.

For my Grail Knights, I would like them to have immaculately bright and shinny armor. I know that GW's Mithril is their lightest paint. Is there a lighter paint?

Or should i base coat the armor in white and then paint it with thin coats of mithril glaze?

I think mitrill silver is the lightest paint, but if you wan something shiningh like the helmet in your avatar, i think is not enought.

i think it has 2 posible solution:
varnish it in shining or draw the reflections in NMM.

perhaps a chrome paint looks good too but i dont know

I was just about to say what Szymon said. You can mix it with other paints, effectively making them metallics.
