Khaosbugg's WIP Thread

Post by KhaosBugg »

This is a model from an old minis game that I found. I think I'm going to use it for my Keeper of Secrets for Warhammer 40k... for now anyways

Here's a pretty good shot of the eyes. I am very proud of them.

another mezoghul !

it's painted really neatly and smooth, i would be tempted to darken the edges of some areas to really define the different sections of the models and add some shading and highlights to make the model pop more than the sculpt already does ^^

I agree with arctica, try to shade it a bit more. Especially the metallics.

You guys are right, I'm going to have to do something about the shading & big blank spots. I don't think I am ready for nmm yet though =/ eep!

So, I haven't gone any further with the model posted previously, but I have been busy on some others... Here they are.

It doesn't come across very well in the photos, but I started with grey for the black fins on the bloodletters (red guys) and the horn that one is carrying (I love love love the amount of shading I was able to do, so thank you thank you THANK YOU guys for the advice). The bloodcrusher (machine mount first pic) will remain shiny, and is pretty much done. I need to dip the hindquarters, and base it. The bloodcrusher (red) that is holding the banner is too top heavy. I am hoping to get the base heavy enough that it will not tip anymore when I add rocks to it. Any other tips to keep it from tipping over would be greatly appreciated.
