new boy...

Post by dwartist »

...although I use the term very loosely. I've been a regular visitor to the Chest of Colours website - and its inspirational miniature painting - for a while now but never noticed the forum (over sixty now so lots of senior moments). I thought I'd join you all...
I'll post a couple of pics of recent stuff (for Antenociti's Workshop) and hope they'll interest you enough to have a peruse of the blog https://dwartist.blogspot.com/

I actually like the way the WW2 stuff is painted, welcome in :D
Getting back into the thick (or rather thin as in thinning my paints) of it, not picked up a brush in some time so this may hurt a bit until I get used to the feel of them again

Thanks for the welcome and the very kind comments!
@Maru: although I predominantly paint sci-fi subjects now I started painting a very long time ago and then it was mostly 1/35 military. I still follow builds of historical stuff quite avidly and have used a lot of the 'newer' techniques (particularly concerning weathering of vehicles) found in articles published in contemporary modelling magazines.
@ Nameless: my apologies - my intention was to limit the number of photos in my first post and not "promote" my blog.

hi dwartist!

I really like your works and am glad to have you here at last :)
and it's very good to have some antenociti's stuff posted here. thanks!

and Nameless is right - no need to apologize. it's simply easier to get responses here if you show your pics. this way you make it easier for people to see your works and save some of their time.

welcome and enjoy :D
