I can't stand this guy's clips, sorry. He's most probably a nice chap, but something about him makes me stop his clips at once :)

Yeah he does waaaaayyyy too much talking. He'd rather do some more miniature painting because it's been a while since I've seen him doing so, but like you said it's probably a very friendly guy. And he's one of the core guys from the painting community on YouTube.

So let me get this straight...

We prime a mini black or white
paint it basecoat of any colour other than black or white
shade it with any colour except black or white
Highlite it with any colour except black or white

if it takes less time than 12 minutes to do all that we can enter a video?
Getting back into the thick (or rather thin as in thinning my paints) of it, not picked up a brush in some time so this may hurt a bit until I get used to the feel of them again

well even if it's not even finished you can enter it :)

And by the way you are not allowed to use a hairdryer...

Ah crap!

That's the only way I'd manage to get anywhere close to the 12 minutes allowed, looks like I won't be doing this competition then :(

you don't have to wait that long - spray paints dry much faster. just prepare some stencils (not included in painting time of course, why should you count cutting stencils as painting? ;) ) and spray the model. you better choose a big model, the effects will be better :P
