Redav's Biel tan army

Post by REDAV »

Hi all. Today Namless mentioned that i should post my army project here and I’m doing it now hehe.

I'm playing Eldar and I want to have a painted 1500 pts army or even more but lets stick to those points hehe. This is what I painted so far:
- Wave Serpent,
- Falcon Grav Tang,
- 2 x Wraithlord,
- Farseer,
- 9x Howling Banshee,
- 10 Dire Avengers,
- 7 x Fire Dragons
- Warlock,
- 1x Ranger,

Now I need to paint:
- Wave Serpent,
- Night Spinner,
- 3x War Walker,
- Avatar,
- Eldrad,
- 6x Fire Dragon,
- Howling Banshee Exarch,
- Dire Avenger Exarch,
- 10 x Eldar Gaurdians with platform,
- 6 x Eldar Jetbike,
- 6 Raners.

Currently I’m painting 4 jetbikers and I will try to finish them till the end of this month.

The hole army is a long project because I’m learning to pain on them and the first minis are not as good as my latest works but they do fine on the table. I will post WIPs and finished works.

This looks like another great tale, you have a nice and consistent painting style from what i can see of what you've already painted and timescale is only set by the person doing the tale so it'll be cool to see this progress. Great start and a very promising project.

I calculated the points for those models i have painted so far and it turned out that they are worth 1499 points hehe. The hole Idea for this army is to have more models so I can change my army list room time to time and for instance I will have 5 Heavy Support choices and so on.

I will try to paint them as fast as I can but there are so many other projects I have in mind that it will take a while. I want to participate in some polish painting contests so I can meet other polish painters and learn something more.

As mentioned now I’m working on some Eldar Bikers and I will try to finish the I this week.

yeah, I also want to paint more units to have a wider selection of models... if I ever play again of course :)
I only asked because those painted models looked liked 1000 - 1500 points at least already :)

I hope that postiong pics here will only motivate you to painting faster ;)
At the second photo from the top (where are unpainted minis) I can see, that plastic minis(i.e. Guardians) are glues to the base. How will you later base them? Don`t you pin them?

10 years later, when you are done with this army, it will be a great way to close the Tale of Gamers series ;)

BTW I think that I have never seen an army painted to this standard on any tournament I participated in.
