At a local shop a Mordheim campaign with 20 people has begun. Normally I find it hard to find time to spend 3-4 hours playing Warhammer, so I thought this would be a great time to spend some time moving painted minis on a table
My choice were the Tomb Kings. I only had to buy one box of skeletons and play a bit with green stuff. Of course bitz box was very helpful with customizing my band Acolytes were made from Bretonia`s Men-at-arms.
Tomb Lord - Raamket
Liche Priest -Amamurti hierophant Ptra (with serpent stuff )
2 Acolytes - Imhep and Kherfu
I like the greenstuff details you've done so far should do a group shot. I have to admit im really liking the mummy, it's so cool I think he'll be fun to paint.
The Mordheim campaign has just begun and part of my band is finished. I am putting WIP pictures before I`ll put final photos hopefully by the end of week.
The band consists of:
1 mummy
1 liche priest
2 acolytes
1 scorpion
2 skeletons with axes
2 skeletons with bows
2 grave guards (one with axe & one with halberd)
So I went with GW`s ice blue colour scheme. here is just one layer Click to see full-sized image
a small part of the bases is finished Click to see full-sized image
and I`ve finished first building: Click to see full-sized image
exactly that was my concern, how to base them Mordheim style or Khermi?
and so I went for a home-ground style, but it took me some time to make a choice
Nameless wrote:bases - did they carry those ruins all the way from khemri to mordheim?
Unless they're a part of an actual Khemri army with which they will be used, I'd go for more "mordheim-themed" bases.
What's the story behind Khemri guys in Mordheim anyway? This might help choose the theme right...
Exactly Mahon! I thought it could be a start in building a small army for Border Patrols (you need only 600pts).
@Lothar
I used to watch SP, but no longer follow the series. Can you give any hints?
