I want to do this but in pastel shades of blue and pink:

I'll be using it on this:

Could I create the chameleonic paint using the chrome NMM method with the blue and the pink applied to reflect the direction of light on the surfaces?
If not, how should I determine where the colours change on the panels?
Thanking you all in advance for any help that might be offered. I don't expect there to be an easy solution to this one at all.
P.S. I'll slow down with my posts when I go back to work, promise! XD

Damn, I don't really know where to make the color transitions... It is really all up to you and the vision you have of this model. The idea is not bad but pretty difficult to pull off...
When I get home I will try to make a picture of what it might look like. Just one of the options...
