As a warmachine and hordes player I'm quite happy with this. As the cost of an army has become very steep these last 2 years.
I'm guessing that they will do single miniatures in metal and units (maybe jacks and beasts) in plastics.

I hope that with plastics the price will drop a bit and that the quality of the plastics will be good...

I'm sure more news will follow :)
