Duel Idea

Post by Anonymous »

Ok folks, the pic below is a preliminary idea for a duel entry. Would appreciate some feedback on the idea.

https://dragyn.fnet.nu/piccies/duel2a.JPG

Granted all pieces are Blu-tacked together but it holds the basic premise. The one arm of the necron will be implanted into the 'stealers skull. There will be som sort of basing materials there and it will be put on a display base, but the duel requires a 50mm round or 50mm X 100mm chariot base which doesn't leave that much room with these two creatures.

Thanks for looking and providing any constructive comments you can.

the idea is ok;
You could stand these minis on a pile of crushed necrons and dead and horribly mutilated g-stealers :wink:
and of course make a maximum combat damages on these two :twisted::wink:

the glowing necron eyes could reflect on the genestealers arm / hand ! that would really tie the two miniatures together.

I like the idea, but the necron is too statis for me. I know it's a robot and all, but one of his legs could be positioned at an angle backward to suggest forward movement, so that it looks like he's getting a left hook on his chin while killing the genestealer.

Well he already lost one arm/gun to a slash from the 'stealers claws, but his other hand will be buried forearm deep in the 'stealer's head so. . . . . . ;)

a draw! lol

hmmm for me it looks too static for a duell. I am doing one myself atm. and I have one leaping mini and one standing shooting and still am not satisfied with the dynamics...

If this is for a Games Day you might want to make the whole thing a bit more dynamic to increase your chances. IF it's just for you, go for it!

my 2 cents

well, it won't be a GD winning duel, but stiull a cool one.

if you want to make the scene more dramatic maybe make the stuff from the 'stealer's head (brain?) blowing out of the head :)

The idea is cool but I agree with Trov that it's a bit static in movement.
