Hi. When I saw so many good free hand on polish painting competition "wojenny młot" I tought that i have to lern how to paint fh:) Realy I didn't paint any good fh ever so now I try to make something good. here you have some first steps:

although I don't personally like human faces on standars, this one is nice... Skin tone is really good, also impressive gold nmm. Only one thing - black background of standar would be a bit strange if the rest of the mini will be in common empire style, wouldn't it? Hmm maybe I'm wrong, but i suggest to take into consideration that..
Anyway, can't wait for more photos of the progress;)

Black Standard would be good for Nuln units

And I like the patterns you managed to paint. The painting of the face is good indeed, but I don't like the style in which it was painted too much. Well, matter of personal preference I think...

Black colour is good

but this face...hmmm...it`s strange for me =P This old man looks like some CREAZY GUY and his stare....grrrrr....

As a conclusion - i like gold parts ,they are really good.For me black standard this is good idea but you must done better face , more realistic and more normal

thx for advises. I'll try to change somthing in his face;) I think black will be ok becouse he will have dark armor in nmm so it should look cool:)

ok here you have next step. I add few things and change something in his face(specialy for DC:) he don't have such crazy eyes:P also I add some highlights on his face) when I'll finish whole mini I will make better pictures becouse here the face is to light and you can't see good shadows and highlights. Hope you like it;)
