My favourite so far is Hellblade :)

Skrit, mahon should give him some nice GD related nick.

As to the Baltimore, I think that Judge have right and Bushido rightly take a Sword. Hellblade was great but not as much as this Terminator squad
but the rest of the winners are ... How to say nice. In French GD I found more beautifull works.

I like this mini

ok personally - and only considered this contest, without consideration of last year - I'd given the sword to Boltman. Paintingwise supersmooth and a rock solid conversion, where Bushido "only" has one or two conversions (as he himself said somewhere) and overall a less striking paintjob, especially on the "swivvels" - they look pretty rough. Big exceptions are the NMM Gold and the banner OF COURSE!! the base is a bit simple too.

what - imho - cost Boltman the sword is the fact that his Magmatrax is just too similar to this miniature and two Slayerswords in a row, that look the same paintingwise is just very unlikely...

none the less I think Bushido deserved this a lot, this is just my 0,02 Euro!

I wasn't all that impressed with most of the winners. Many looked just like ther was just a need for somebody to win. :P

But I liked some entries:
- Bushido's termies
- The Dreadnought "Hellblade"
- This marine in a weird pose was quite good, but his torso is unnaturally twisted.
- =][= scale Cadians with Chimera

some entries were pretty weird, some good but not felling int memory for long..

I think exactly the same. Bushido and Boltman do not have worthy opponent there except themselves. Send them to French GD
That will be more interesting :)

And I like the Marine in the weird pose, but more painting and nice weapon swap then pose. So we think the same here
