jo hi folks

my name is pinselknecht, i am from germany and this is my first post at COC.

i am glad to be here.

i am sorry for my bad english...i am not used to write it every day :)
but i hope that you are all able to understand me and that there is comunication

i proudly present you my winning mini form witten. a german painting contest. with it i achieved the first place in the category "single-miniatures masterclass" and the price "best off show"

the miniatur is the special-mini from the gd in spain ´04. everything at the mini was sculpted by me...except of the mini and the barrel!

i hope you like it

first of all - WELCOME!!

the mini is great - both as for the sculpture and for the paintjob. I like the colors and am really impressed by the nice NMM you painted. The water effect is really fantastic :) I personally would highlight his skin a bit more, but it's just a matter of personal style.

And well, what is wrong with your English? I think it's good enough for us here at CofC :)

Great mini!

What colours do you use for cloak on Marco arms (bag-sleeves). I want to paint the same way bag-sleeves on my Mordheim warband members...

Detailed description for colorblind amateur needed :D

i use the old ral-partha colours & duncan colours....al very matt acrylics!

i do not no any gw-colour names!
so i use only common colour names!

the colour scheme is:

base-colour: middle red
shades: dark red
deep shades: umbra-brown+violet
first highlights: based on middle red + orange
middle highlights: orange + yellow
top highlights: yellow

i hope it helps :)

At last I can see some clear pictures of this mini, because all the pictures I took from it at Miniaturansichten didn't come out very well :)
