From zombie to cyberzombie

Post by Slawek »

I plan to upgrade my plastic Warhammer zombies to arcoflagelants... And it means bionics, implants and lots of shiny tech stuff in WH40k style...

What I need now its inspiration, ideas and examples... Pls help me :)

This is how such technomonster should look (more or less)

Well, the line of Chaos models prior to this edition had add on bitz for your Marines. Buzz saws, Drills etc... Maybe check if GW still sells them.

Slawek, if you need/want I can check my older GW catalog when I get back home next week. If you can't find any other way, maybe we can get them for you somehow.

if getting bits direct from GW is not a problem, your best bet is the necromunda pit slaves arms, there are all sorts of equipment that will be just right.

For the tubes, you can try looking for a music equiment supply shop and look for piano wire. (or you can just use any wire...)

If you want to do the syringe spines on the back, you can try using brass rod and a brass tube. The tube would be troublesome to cut into small sections though so an alternative might be to get a plastic rod slightly bigger in diameter to the rod, then cut out sections and then use a drill to drill a hole.

good luck

Thank you all!
As to the "easy" solutions as getting pit slave arms, I want to try to stay away from that. This small project its mean as some kind of creativity lesson. It should improve my conversion skills...

As to the bitz I have - not so good but not bad too... I have most of new space marine thingies, zombie and Imperial militia...

I plan to use chainswords, plasma pistolst to make bionics etc.

Plasticard or multiple pieces of plastic blister packs to make saw blades and bracing. Guitar strings for cabling. Picture shown is of the Specialist Games Inquisitor converted. You are to convert this scale or 40K scale?
