Having translation problems?

Post by Skrit »

Well no longer!

Apparently Google have a new feature which enables you to translate entire sites!

If you type in your search in Google and it comes up with the results then at the end it has the option: translate this site.

I've done it with Creafigs (a French site) and I must say I'm very pleased about it!

Now all those foreign secrets are no longer safe!:D

Wow, the Yoda speak is both amazingly well done ( ;) ) and very confusing as well!

I gather from what I was able to decipher that:

1. They stole a bag with somebodies figs in it?
2. They weren't happy with the judging and the winners of GD Spain?

Oh well, Guess we'll see it clarified real soon.

@LE: You're right Babelfish has been there for a while but for some apparent reason I never noticed it and used it... :)

1. someone stole julien casses' bag with 4 of his and 2 of other people's entries
2. 13 of the 16 demons were taken by the spanish, so the french say it's a bit strange (I don't know how many other entries they had in the competition) also they were confused by the fact that a model in the open category won the slayer sword. Nano's Space Marine - haven't seen him yet - was placed in the open category by the judges because it didnt have a proper base...and still won the slayer...weird, but i dont have anymore details
3. It seems there was a missunderstanding between the Spanish and the French, which thought the Spanish would provide sleeping places, but then didn't because noone seemed to have remembered all that.
4. I think Casses also ran into some kind of trouble with some Spanish people, I just know it was 6:1 but i dont know what they wanted from him and in what way they were involved with the GD.

About the same thoughts I had but it's still all a bit strange to me. So what if the Spanish won most of the prizes? If I remember correctly they won a lot of throphies in the UK too! Off course it sucks if your stuff gets stolen, you don't want that to happen to anyone and I do feel sorry for Julien.

It's been known for many years that the Open cannot win the Slayer Sword but if you think of it, is that written down anywhere? I honestly don't remember reading that rule!
