this thread talks about alot of things I really appreciate, and the fact that forums are mostly for sharing and learning. I started a topic about this when the coc forum started that shares alot of opinions with this one. Forums are for comments and criticism, and that's what I appreciate so much about them !

comments are welcome.. it is a scratchbuilt miniature, 54mm.. all sculpted with milliput. painted with acrilycs and layers of oils.

it is my version of the major rawne from the Dan abnet's novels about gaunt's gosht..is the way i imagine this character.. the title of the scene is "beware of your back gaunt" something like "cuida tus espaldas gaunt"

because this character wants to kill his superior officer, gaunt commisar.. that is why i imagined that scene with the knife in the back, and this eyelooking in his face.. Rawne is described as a trully dangerous bastard

about the colour of the uniform, that the trousers should have been painted in black, but I allowed myself this license once i saw that the artist like Adrian Smith, they were interpreted each one of a different way. So I did the same thing to look for a better looking

Excellent thing, Banshee! And your photos allow to admire this piece even better. I am impressed by the skintone you used here and all the freehand patterns like tattoos and IG markings on his skin and equipment. There's only one thing I am not too fond of: the hair. I feel it doesn't stand up to the standard of the miniature...

But you managed to capture the character of Rawne very well in my opinion. Well deserved award

amazing close ups pictures and still i cant find a tiny little flaw there, it has slawer sword name writeen all over it.

a step by step.. imposible cause i have not pics of the proccess ..i painted the 5 last days before the event..so i didnt have time enough to take pics..however if you have any doubts.. tell me and i will try to answer as good as i am able to do.
