It's a good point about the mesh, but a nice mini!
Over here we can buy mesh screens for sanding drywall for dirt cheap at a hardware store. They'd sure be in scale if you're interested.

I wonder if the model wouldn't benefit from being based on an empty plinth...

Reaper mini. Had some fun with see-through effect. I even managed to paint nipples this time. That's what I call a progress

If she is a private dancer, nameless may need to add an audience, lol.

I like the cloth effect, but i feel the skin could be a little neater in places and possibly the details on the face could be better defined. But saying that the mini does look very small.

The cloth and transparency effect turned out very cool this time! Even the nipple is done well - so it's a step forward, Phil!
Smoothness is pretty good on the clothes and back of the leg.
Skin on the front looks bad though. Especially on the face (Werner's revenge, huh? or is it somebody' else's job?). The skin looks very thin nd almost translucent. As if all the veins and stuff showing through the skin. The hair looks like a dirty rag or mop too...
The base is OK, except for the carpet. On something which looks much like an oriental palace floor, the carpet looks thin, cheap, simiplistic, and... ugly. It might look much better on a wall of a medieval farmer's home.
Generally I think you should be satisfied - another model painted, some parts much better than on your previous works. And the shortcuts you took, seem to be your deliberate choices.

lol, the don't make a mini of Nameless
Generally speaking, what Mahon said is my opinion on this mini

I only don't agree that skin on the front looks bad. I think that belly and leg are pretty ok, at least considering my painting level. face and chest though... faces are always a problem for me, especially when a mini is as small this one.
now, the additional problem was cast quality. Some time ago Reaper introduced a P-65 range, which consists of their already released sculpts. The difference is they use a mix containing lead for this range. Not sure if this was the reason or if it is a problem of the whole P-65 range, but cast was pretty poor. there were some imperfections, some parts were shapeless lumps of metal
and carpet is definitely a big miss

yeah, it looked like some casting imperfections. that's why I mentioned the 'revenge' bit

and I think the skin is acceptable but not good for your current quality (as long as the photo is pretty accurate) because some parts are much better - like the back or clothes...
