Arctica's Blood Ravens
Re: Arctica's Blood Ravens
I never liked green sides of bases. Brown are acceptable, and black are my favorites.
Re: Arctica's Blood Ravens
Well as i've been a bit quiet lately due to work and the national holiday here in the UAE, i have been busy painting still
and i've managed a few more models for both my blood ravens and my world eaters. I've given up on decent photos for now until i can get home and take decent ones with my set up at home.

some scouts, 1 chaplain, 1 apothecary and 2 dreadnoughts left to go to finish this tale. I might achieve it this year as i only have until 7th December to be back in the UK, but i will take my minis back home with me and see how much i can finish. Still as tabletop minis im pretty happy with them, basic paint jobs which are generally speaking fairly neat.

Re: Arctica's Blood Ravens
lol perhaps i'll change them to black ^^ seems to be the general consensus. What is it with me and the rubbish base skills? :S lol
Re: Arctica's Blood Ravens
Good job, I like them! I also think that the swords just rock

Re: Arctica's Blood Ravens
it's not about basing skills, it's about changing old habits from days when GW had those green bases all around
cool to see at least one tale progressing

Good stuff
Re: Arctica's Blood Ravens
Well i've still not gotten around to repainting the base rims yet but i'll do that when i go back home to the UK tomorrow
^^ but I've not quite achieved the end of my tale yet with 4 models still to paint
. 2 dreadnoughts, 1 chaplain and an apothecary still to paint. Not taking the dreads home to the UK with me as i've ran out of room to put them in my bag lol, so i'll finish them next year
but I might add a bit more to this tale as i want to get some sanguinary guard and paint some gold nmm to practice that. But i have finished my unit of scouts to a decent table top standard.

Re: Arctica's Blood Ravens
I love the old metal scouts as much as I love NMM on those guns and knives. But come on, green bases?
