Re: What's new from Ana?
Hello again,
It was a long time since I posted anything here, but this model took me some time to finish, but I enjoyed painting it very much. It was one of my favorite models from Privateer Press and it had very interesting fluff.
I don't know about other miniatures from PP, but casting quality of this one was really good. Much better than most other miniatures I used to paint, so I had easier time cleaning and preparing it.
Without any further comment - here it goes:

"That is superb, i particularly like the way the skin feels stretched and torn around the back. The shading of blue on his brown cloth really helps pull the model together and give it atmosphere. Great freehands

Fantastic! Can you please briefly explain how you did the base? The earth looks very realistic.

If there were a video on a SBS of this mini, I'd pay bucks for it. Stunning.
Re: What's new from Ana?
she will surely do when time permits. as you can see she doesn't have much time to hang out here these days....
our facebook fans surely know the reason
@Corvus - you mean the paintjob or sculpting? I can offer a tiny bit of insight. as little as I know

I mean the texture and general look, what materials were used etc. But if it's entirely sculpted then I already know I thinkmahon wrote:@Corvus - you mean the paintjob or sculpting? I can offer a tiny bit of insight. as little as I know
Re: What's new from Ana?
IIRC it's wire + plasticard used as the 'skeleton' for it, reinforced with greenstuff, and texture is "printed" in miliput by pressing a real stone to miliput.
