Yeah ToMaZ, the devastator squad will have very ''chekery'' patterns.:P

And finally I painted the sergeant's banner, my first ettempt on doing some major freehand. Guess it turn out pretty okay. Oh and another marine seconds before he throws the grenade.

Your patience impress me Komrad :) This army will look great on the battlefield. One thing - red bolters don't fit ... it reminds me times when Mike McVey painted for GW.

Well Demi, it depends on point of view - it was time when I started to paint and collect minis so it's not so "oldschool" for me :)

hey I was thinking about starting imperial fists when i stumbled upon your topic here. how did you achieve such a nice yellow on your models? I have been painting for a few years and any help to achieve that look would be amazing.

White undercoat or black?
What steps did you take?
ANd how long should i expect it to take?

Any help would be great thank you in advance
