I actually like the the last 2. I bought the last one at gencon.
If it wasn't for the gutter my mind would be homeless.

The last one - OK, but the previous one (the girl) doesn't impress me at all. Unfortunately IMHO it fails to transfer the atmosphere of the artwork to the model...
The oriental model is much better at this...

different people, different tastes. IMO new sculpts are much better sculpt-wise. I see a lot of improvement. Bloody Rose and Harrier are IMO very cool, but the best ones from this wave are still to come (Tenebrus!!!).
If I`d be very picky I`d point out that it looks that Morf has not enough time for painting (at least in comparison to the first batch), but we judge actual sculpts here, not paintjob, do we?

yeah, the paintjobs may be the reason... but we don't get to see unpainted models, so we can only judge what we see...

I still think not all of the sculpts managed to capture what I really liked in the artwork. I was really looking forward to seeing the sculpts and not all of them got me really impressed. For example I think the Bloody Rose manages to translate the artwork into a sculpt well, but Harrier loses a lot of her character in the meantime...

I agree, although the last few ones show improvement a bit...

Yup, I got to second Przemas.
The new stuff (and by new stuff I don't mean stuff that is over a year old like Harrier and Mourn) is my favorite to the day.
Of course it's not to everybody's taste.

Przemas, Morf - of course it's a matter of taste. I'm not speaking for the masses, I'm stating my own, personal opinion.
Generally pulp stuff is not my cup of tea, but I liked some of early PC releases. I admit they are good sculpts, even if they are not for me.

@Przemas - I don't agree that sculpting quality improved. IMO older sculpts, like gorilla, red riding hood or gunfighter (sorry, I'm not familiary with their names) have better level of details, sharpness and character.

@Morf - character, I think that's it. Another issue that is of course subjective, but I think the new releases lack character. They are... searching for word to replace boring...plain?
Of most recent releases shown here, the ghost creature is the only interesting concept to me. Unfortunately the concept was hit by the sculptor (right hand - is the skin changing into cloak?; no toes, so he's probably wearing some clothing - where does it endm near the hip like a stocking? not sure about the anatomy details of the body due to sharp higlights on ribs, but these also seem bit unappropriate; cloak looks too 'heavy' for a jumping/flying type of a mini), and then you coup-de-graced with the paintjob. Sorry to say that, but it is the worst official paintjob on PC mini so far.
Anyway, you know better what is your customer's general opinion. I'm just presenting mine, with a suggestion to retain the sculpting quality and perhaps consider 'character' issues while selecting concepts/artworks/sculpts for future releases. YMMV.

Good luck!
