This is the last mini painted by me in 2010. Mr Humpty Dumpty (not sure which one is H and which is D) released by Smart Max. Cool mini in 54mm scale.

It's time to make some kind of a summary of 2010, but that I will do tomorrow. If I have time.

It's such a cool model, i have mine all prepared and primed. I like your colour choices but i think some stronger contrast woulc make the model pop a bit more. At the moment my eyes keep focusing on the yellow waist coat rather than his faces. I do like what you've done with the shoes actually, they work so well with the whole composition.

Crazy mini. How difficult was it to assemble, and how was the casting quality? I ordered my first Smart Max the other day.

@Scott - quality was good, though I had seen better resin casts to be honest. no problem with assembly.

ok, it's about time to summarize 2010... let me check my goals for this year ...
Nameless wrote:new goals? not really. decrease my Hall of Shame, increase Hall of Fame, varied selection of minis for painting, some bigger projects maybe, 8.5, contest win.
right, Hall of Shame was slightly decreased, but there still are unfinished minis on my painting desk. Hall of Fame is bigger now of course :)

varied selection of minis? most of them were in 28mm scale, though their actual size varied from 18mm to dozen cm (not really sure now how tall was the dragon). 1 model in 80mm (largest for me, so far)
manufacturers: Reaper (x3), PP (x3), Avatars of War (x1), Red Box Games (x2), Dark Age (x1), GW (1 + eldars), Wyrd (x1), Pegaso (x1), Enigma (x1), MaxMini (x1), Smart Max (x1).
new companies in my Hall of Fame - AoW, RBG, DA, Wyrd, Pegaso, Enigma, MaxMini, SmartMax.
fantasy - 9
steampunk - 6
sf - eldars
not bad, but no busts or dioramas this year.

bigger projects - reaper dragon was big. and I've started eldar army (first 400 pts). need to develop that army this year.

last goals were just for fun :) no contest win  expected fail  no 8.5 on cmon. unexpected fail, bit not truly surprising either :)

thanks for checking this thread, I already invite you to a new thread for 2011 :) oh, I still need to make a pic of my showcase to close 2010 completely :)

Nice summary - and congrats of all minis painted!
I regret I didn't manage to run the blog whole year - I started it also to make counting all painted figs easier...
