I think one reason the arrows look a little off is that they seem a bit too clean on the top side of the wings from the back view, the ones on the underside of the wings look really nice and work well with the model, I agree that they can be explained easily just might need a bit more of nurgle's touch to them. Personally i like the whole thing, its really to your style ana and for me i love the weathering on the sword and the smoothness of it all. I'd like to learn how to do that one time.

Coffee smells lovely :D too bad i only like drinking sweet coffee flavoured milk lol

I think Artica has hit the major issue right on the head. The difference between the weathering on the front ones and the clean colours on the back ones. Also though they can be explained, IMHO (H=Humble) I also think that if the fingers of the wings are armoured that the hand and arm structure would have some kind of armouring as well.

But since this is just my opinion which probably has no basis in reality or otherwise, please take it as such. :silenced:

The painting and structure of the model is all your very excellent style which of course makes me very envious.

I hope I explained myself well enough. :curtain: :rose:

I don't really mind them - they're very similar to all the turquise elements on the demon's armor - like the borders on the legs, around the neck, near hands, etc.
The degree of weathering is very similar: the paint is chipped and rusty spots are showing.

I think it gives some connection between the decoration of armor and the wings, which are an added element.
If you take a look at the photo of the back of the mini, you can notice that the arrows and the borders are actually very similar. I think they bind the parts together with the common style. Moreover, to me they create some way of merging and interweaving the organic parts (skin, mutations, wings) with artificial ones (armor, weapons).

And bear in mind the model is not very dirty, I'd say it's rather chipped and damaged, but not really dirty. So why should the arrows be any dirtier?

PS - anybody noticed the little ear on one of the wings?
