hum ...
so well actualy youa are focusing on Army painting .. end that mey explayn lack of answers - ther is a sub forum called "Tale of gamers" wich actualy focus no army / unit painting
but well lets try on comenting
i actualy dont knowwhats going on on bases (thous in finished thread to - or rather especialy on them )
i would sey bad color selection
wich ends on concrete look .. they work on construction site ??

so what is actualy your goal with thous bases ??
- we will help but atm nonof us knew whats going on as yuo got ther wery vivid end colorful demons on construction site .... concrete

I have just written in yu finshed pices section that you need shades and washes will help you with. I think here with bloodletters it is the same case :)

mmm yes the display base concrete look I think was the result of my not spraying enough of the stone texture stuff, and I need to add sand or stones or.. something to fix that =/. See showcase thread response. I was going for more for barren land being flooded with blood as the daemons are summoned, and likewise barren land for the slaaneshi daemons (purple/blue ones with no blood) but there is gold on their bases as they often tempt their enemies to their death. I will have to do some major rethinking on thebases =/ They should tell their own story I shouldn't have to explain it. This is a quick post before I go, but later I will look into that other forum too. Thanks for directing me to that and thanks for giving me some things to think about/rethink =D

I think that Dry pigments would help as usual .. in bases deparment
but if you need explain bases .. well it is like with jockes .. you should't explain them

i think i soo somwer cool basing tutorial ... i will need to find that :D
