This event happened a couple of weeks ago, and I decided not to go, for the simple reason of the painting competition not happening this year.
It's the first time I voluntarily (had to cancel once because of a trip for my job) skipped the event in 7 years. It's only 15 minutes driving from where I live, so normally I should have gone if there was a competition.
I didn't miss anything so it seems. From what I've heard there was a lot more historical demos and traders than last year, and less and less fantasy & sf. If this is because of the painting competition (where 90% was sf & fantasy) I don't know...

No i didn't Corvus, had to work but sounds like I didn't miss a thing!
