What brand of silver paint is that on the gun and eye patch? It looks really convincing as a metal.

GW must have improved their metallics then, the last time I used one of their silvers it was very... sparkly and not nice and smooth as you've got it. Thanks for the info, I might have to pop in and buy a pot.

as far as I can remember GW metallics were always among the best acrylic metallics available. few could match the quality...

I like the metalic elements and skin very much, but hair still needs more work :curtain: and IMHO the fangs will look better in different color, because at this moment it is too similar color to the straps on the head :?

Well, looking at the ork above, I suspect that they've changed the formula of their silver at the very least. Currently I use Daler-Rowney System 3 silver paint which gives a smooth finish much like has been achieved with the ork. In the past, when I've used GW metallics - with the exception of Burnished Gold - I've found the finish somewhat sparkly instead of smoothly metallic. Of course, this could also come down to using paint from a bad batch or any number of other factors.

I confirm that GW metallics are perfect, especially on Black primer, excellent finish.
