Good models, but maybe the carnifex was more impressive in person?
Not that it's a bad work, it's still masterclass, but on the pics other things seem more inspiring to me. But I know how one can misjudge when he can't see the model in the flesh.

As for your remarks, Phil, I agree. That's the difference between historical and warhammer modellers: the historical guys would criticize you for using wrong color of mud on your Vietnam diorama, wrong texture of fabric on a soldier's uniform, or too deep trench. On the other hand you can get a horse jumping over trenches, horse listening to a running tank, and stoic rider on a wild lizard in warhammer contests.

actually running tank engine isn't AS loud as it seems:
as former apc "commander" I can swear I'm not deaf :army:

it's a huge bastard, not some pitiful apc :P
it's a WWI - WWII type of a tank. not a modern technology (or almost modern ;))

It.s from the previous Empire range, about 7-8 years old I think...
