I don't see nothing funny about that :)
Some people like specific rules set, some don't.
I just want to hear an opinion on confrontation rules, which would include someting more than "I like it" or "I don't".

played only once with my dirz warband and was much more complex than GW games... more detailed combats but cards a bit confusing... so many things you can do that this game requires more thinking and experience to enjoy it.

@Nameless : I meant funny in the sens that since news has been given about AT-43, I've read a lot more critics about the Confrontation rules than what I could have read before; should people like them or not, I hardly care ;).

Karl Kopinski left after his brother was made redundant.

Well, I find the game boring to be honest.
Half of the time, when we were playing a different army list than we used to, we needed to search for rules every 5mins. Because there are so many of them. Plus errata, plus special magic effects, plus magic items.... etc etc. This takes the drive out of the game.

Plus it's not really balanced. A regular goblin trooper that kills a 5 times bigger wolfen bloodpredator with one blow for example.

You have to be a hardcore CO player I think, to really like it.

IMO Rackham is lucky that it has some of the best models available in the miniature world. If they hadn't I'm pretty sure many people wouldn't keep playing it.
That's why I said that I hope the game AT-something will be more interesting.

Maybe I'm a bit spoiled by Privateer Press. They have a simple basic set of rules in the book. With special rules clearly explained on cards that you get with the models, so you don't need to open the book all the time.

That's my opinion :)

:curtain: well... unfortunatelly I haven't played CO yet, but I play warmachine and I can say for sure: warmachine rules are great - easy and dynamic, imo much more "playable" than wfb or wh40k...

Thanks for info, guys.
I don't play Warmachine neither, but PP rules has got definitely better opinion among gamers, than Rackham.
Speaking of skirmishes - I really like Reaper's Warlord.
