Thanx guys, I'll keep the comments in mind.

In the mean time I didn't really feel like painting, so today I converted my juggernaut.

I wanted a dynamic pose, so I had to cut off his left leg, position it more forward. Cut away the lower shoulderpads, resculpt the ball where the arm is attached to, cut off most of the arms and replace it with well, electrical wire in this case because I couldn't find my brass rod and little rings ^^ Anyway, I wanted it to look like he was going to punch something, and I think it does look that way. Now I awaits some undercoat and paint :)

Oh in real life, he is facing more downwards, more menacing. I had to take the pic lower because you wouldn't be able to see anything but his back and fist otherwise ^^

I love the dynamic pose of this model, as if it is about to crush something. Good work, the rest of the army looks cool too.

Thanx, I think I'll update with better pics once I've converted my Kovnik a bit. His weapon is ridiculously big, and I'm going to see if I can change that a bit. Also want to change the pose. As now he's leaning backwards and has his axe in front of his shield. I want to pull him open a bit.

the kovnik is the one with the flag btw, but that flag is removed allready, and given to the juggernaut.

Wel, I have 4 other warjacks that I can cut up. I'm going to convert at least 2 of them. Not sure if I'm going to convert the Behemoth, as it is a beast with a lot of parts, costed me almost 50? and I can't afford a new one when things go wrong :D

The other one, the beserker, is really complicated, and I can't really see how to convert him.
His shoulders/arm pits are covered with plates and pistons, that are hard to recreate and even harder to cut away. But I'm gonna search for something...

In the near future, you'll probably be seeing a converted Marauder and Devastator

these two boring poses (both by PP):

You know, I'm full of ideas for converting the jacks, but the problem is that PP doesn't have a bitz store yet. So as I want to give all my 'jacks flags and stuff, I need to sculpt those, and that's not my strongest part. Sculpted my first flag yesterday... but it doesn't really look good.
And most of the GW bitz I have, don't really fit the WM theme...

ok I'm babbling again...

in short: You'll see more conversions around here soon :)

Started converting the second jack yesterday, and while the GS was drying I started painting Irusk his head, he's not really part of this project, but anyway...
This is how it turned out, only it's lighter in real life:

finished the butcher:

More detailed shots are here: Butcher of Khardov

And today I started on the widowmakers. This is the look of the captain so far:

Tried zenital priming, and now I remember why I had thrown that white primer in the darkest corner possible... notice the splatters! doesn't matter all too much while painting luckily, only the big ones take some more time to cover up decently.
Comments?

Since I can hardly move with a severly twisted ankle (yes I had to add the severly because it's really bad...sports are bad for your health) I've been sitting at my desk a lot. So I started to paint and convert my warmachine army again.

So here are some updates:

Manhunter

Metallics are not finished for anyone wondering. The other stuff where you can't see white splatters is... And that white on his back is dandruff. No shower for him when stalking the woods ^^ (it's some plaster dust ;) )

The other thing I was working on was this warjack:

the original pose was this: clicky

This warjack had a good start with the walking bottom half (all the other khador warjacks just stood still) but the top half was just boring, not worthy of the name berserker ;) This warjack crushes into melee growing stronger with every hit...

so that's what I wanted, a warjack that looks like he's charging into melee. The model was really a pain to convert, all these pipes and pistons... Anyway I think I captured the motion :) If not, I still have a better looking warjack. He's not completly finished yet, and I might alter the pose a bit more when everything had dried.

Sorry for the long blabla bla...
