2005 balance:
-best miniature on market?
Hasslefree's zombie hunters!
-most enjoyable paint work?
Probably the pulp stuff, esp the chinese figures
-the nightmare paint work?
Heresy's Boris, a huge struggle that took forever to get right. It turned out beautifully though and I think its my best work so far. (I should say that its a fantastic miniature though! The nightmare part is my own deficiency as a painter, aiming higher than I can shoot)
-goals achieved?
Didn't really set much goals... except...
-goals missed?
Finish painting all the modern zombies I bought. I have a bad habit of buying faster than I paint so for a small contained genre like zombies, I thought for once I would crunch down and get them all painted. Still on going though, hopefully I will get it done. I have only got another 27 more to go. Plus another 19 that I have my eyes on (10 of which I already bough, waiting for arrival).... plus any more that hasslefree releases..... ooops....
-new secret tecnique mastered?
Vallejo glazes. They are fun. I think I got much better with my metals too this year, after turning to washes. But didn't get to do that many metals in the year so didn't get a lot of practice on it.
-best moment in hobby?
Personally inspiring a set of miniatures for Newbold World. So honoured.
-worse moment in hobby?
spyglass downscaling
-what did you like most on CofC?
Nice people. Very supportive, encouraging and helpful.
-What dint you like so much on CofC?
Just a mild irritation, but for some reason, the page takes a moment to reload every now and then and it freezes up for a few seconds. No biggie though
2006 previsions
- your goals?
Get though zombies done. And more pulp. Maybe more pirates... A space ship fleet... or two... And something historical would be nice...
- what would you like to see on CofC?
More of the same
- last hobby thing you want to experience on 2006?
Bitching and whiney people. And post service stealing out stuff.
