They are looking darker than the Fellowship mini's I've seen so far but I must say I prefer them much more this way!:D

Well as promised though a little later than I planned here is the completed image of Legolas, I'm afraid for some reason I cannot get a decent pic I've tried several different things and settings but so far nothing seems to work.
Anyway until I can manage to get a good pic this one will have to do.

I've also got master Samwise practically done now as well so hopefully I'll get that pic up as well later on today.

The pic is a bit smallish, but for what I can see he looks great! Nice greens and a good contrast with the blue-grays.

Ha ha after much perseverance I've managed to get a good pic of Legolas and here it is, I hope you agree and find it a better pic.

I could see clearly on the first pics that it was yet another great paintjob!;)

As ToMaZ said the contrast of colours is good, nice touch also of adding the string to the bow!:)

P.s: The reason that you couldn't get a good pic of him straight away must be because he's an Elf! :P

I looked at him again... he's great but there's something strange going on with his eyes I think. Maybe it's the pic.

All of them look great :D I think Gandalf and Frodo are my favorite, i love the dirt on the backs of the robes/cloaks. Like Skrit i also like the darker look to the minis. :D

Thanks for the feedback, yeah Legolas's eyes do look strange in the pic but it is the pic as they look ok in reality. They were a paint to paint actually as there is very little definition to them on the model enlike the rest of the fellowship whereby with a light wash with a darker colour helps to pick them out making a good guide fpr where the eyes should be. With Legolas that just did not work.
Anyway the latest member of the gang is now done, master Samwise and I think that he is my favourite so far after Legolas.

I kept a limited pallette and also spent a long time placing the details on the mini which was very hard and nearly impossible to see. Now on to Boromir.
