sharp white on marble should make it more convincing - at this moment it looks just like stripes of paint
buuut it should look nice under water... haven't you been considering sinking the base?
I agree about the white lines, now they just look like stripes of thinned white paint. I liked the second colored option better, it matches her hair better. Right now I like the color of the dried moss stuff, because it's a bit brownish/yellowish like her hair.
oh and I see some green paint on her dress I think..
Phil, you need thin white or black lines to make it more marble-like. Now it reminds me more of camouflage than marble. Maybe because marble seems more about thin vein-like lines than about lines as thick as her arm. You're going in the right direction but still need to finish it properly.
some aditional colours are planned for the base (washes), and some static grass to liven it up a bit.
hair is too similar to silver NMM. dark blue glazes to make his hair dark? what's your suggestion?
I like the green cape, I quite like the base, but the beard and face look bad. They're probably very early WIPs or (which is my suspicion) the sculpt is very bad there. He looks like his face is flat, featureless and black.
I might try some cold-brown washes on the beard but I doubt it will help without serious resculpting and/or repainting.
