The 2009 Newbold Challenge managed to raise just over 6,000 GBP for Children in Need. Very many thanks to all the folks who helped to make that possible!
And now it's time to move into the New Year. The 1st Creative Event of the 2010 Newbold Challenge is now open for entries. And although the closing date is not until 30 April 2010 the sooner we recive your entries the longer they will be on public display!
As usual you'll have the chance to win 50 GBP for yourself and a 50 GBP donation to Children in Need on your behalf. You'll find the few rules we have at :-
No real changes. The few rules we have just have to be available for anyone who hasn't entered before and of course they give the closing date for the current Event for future reference. One minor change is that we used to donate 1 GBP to charity for every entry (in addition to the prizes and matching donations) up to a maximum of 50 GBP. We've increased that limit to 100 GBP just in case we ever get more than 50 entries. That seems unlikely to us but we did have 46 for the last one so I guess it is just about possible. Anyway we've covered the possibility!
