I went there two years ago. Didn't go there last year because of the con's listed below. I don't know yet whether I will go this year...
pro: the chance to see the work of a bunch of famous French and Belgian (from the Walloon part of Belgium) painters and meet them in person, without having to go to events like Ravage Mix Open. Rock-hard painting competition. Fantastic location: old church on a hill near Brussels.
con: expensive: 15 euro, boring: not really much to do besides the painting competition showcase. Don't expect to win anything in the competition unless you have the "French touch" style of painting.
Definitely too far for me, and I suspect I would have serious problems understanding anything. So for me it's obviously a 'no'. On the other hand €15 ain't that much for something that doesn't happen every week. If it's not too far, mayby you should go?
Oh it's not that far from where I live: about 40 minutes by car I guess.
Maybe I'll go, since MiniArtCon 2010 isn't going to happen this year. The problem last time was that Jasper (Mordred, remember him? ) and I entered a bunch of figures in the painting competition so we had to wait to the very end of the event to pick our figures back up. So we were there about 7 hours with almost nothing to see... that's why I say it's boring
