These Cathedral Ruins are sooooo cool! Great! Gothic-style walls are pretty good, the rest of them - OK.

I like ruins but it is not ghotic - ornaments are renaissance or baroque, only shape of windows is ghotic, but for game it is not problem.
If profesional architect use this mix of styles in real building it would be trashy.

That's right, I agree with You, but only these walls are called "gothic-style", not ruins

considering my poor basing skills, these walls could be a good way to make nice bases for my minis. 4-5 pounds (if it is true price) doesn't seem much for such elements.

no, not much if you want 1-2 elements for your bases. then the prices are just fine - and I think the models are well worth it.
But if you'd like to build larger ruins....
