Someone says Cypress Hill, I hear - I Love You Mary Jane. I hear I Love You Mary Jane, I think of Judgment Night OST.
One of the best soundtracks in the history, breaking the musical borders and combining rock and rap to create something totally new.
Judgment Night by Onyx and Biohazard - enjoy!

I am sorry to say but they did not create the rap-rock mix. Not entirely sure but I believe That was Ice T's Bodycount. about a year before in '92. This one is from '93. I actually do not like thsi song muck, that loud mouth onyx is not one of my favourite rappers I have to say...
Edit: Actually Run DMC and Arrowsmith were one of the first to do it I recall now...

oh, but I do agree there were earlier attempts to do such mixing. and yes, I believe that Run DMC/Aerosmith were probably the first to do it with Walk This Way. Late 80's it was, right? Can't recall the specific date now. Bodycount with their first album? sure. Add Beastie Boys to that, and early Public Enemy too perhaps, and surely a lot of other bands that slipped of my memory now.
I still believe though that it was this OST which hit the musical market really hard and pushed music in 90's in a new direction. YMMV.

Walk this way - yes, it's song from 70's, but the version with Run DMC was released much later
