well, accidents like this one just happen in football from time to time.
I wish him quick recovery and come back to football fields. He's one of Polish representatives, and we're just about to play 2 important games.

That's belgian football for ya. Take a blender add, 2 parts of football, 1 part of kickboxing and a good dose of aggression.
The victim has two open fractures in his leg and they wonder if he would ever be able to play at national level again.

Brrrr I get goosebumps when I see this again :pale:

he's uber tough, if there is a slightest chance of recovery - he'll do it. and that's what I hope for.

It is sick to see. A few years back we had something alike in the Netherlands with a guy called Niels Kokmeijer, he was not able to play football ever again afterwards...

ouch, I didn't know people can do such things with their legs. it looked sick.
I think martial arts are for the weak now, football is for the strong.

I ain't strong it seems...

last year something like that happened to Arsenal player Eduardo da Silva. He's already back.
Henrik Larsson had his leg broken during the game. Djibril Cisse had his leg broken. Twice.
They all managed to recover fully and play on high level.

I'm just searching for positive things to look at.

This leg was not simply broken. It was bent at some unspeakable angle.

I believe that's something that H.P.Lovecraft had in mind when he wrote about indescribable geometry of alien cities...
