Okay, i'll be very honest here. With the first wips of these guys you got me hooked and I had a very high expectation. Although they are still quite good I expected better. The way you painted the blues and even the white parts with OSL are very good. Imho the reds don't fit the soft blues very well. And very blunt, especially the bases are boring!

Still 7,5 to 8 but could have been high 9's. :)

P.s; If I have been too harsh sorry, lemme know and I'll soften up the reply. :)

I really like the banner! Overall, you're right, they're good (better than I can do!) but missing that bit of pop that would make them wonderful. For me...the green on the hammers and claws is disconcerting, and maybe the blues are a little flat?

Was about to ask for a group photo but then I saw the link... this is were they really shine, a group of 8 wonderfull minis painted to a very high standart! Sure some things could be better here and there but you just cant look at such big group of minis like you look for just one mini.
For example looking for just the individual pics I could say theres some strange color choices but then I look at the unit and shazam! all just looks perfect. Congrats mate.

Ditto, apart from the bases they look great.
Getting back into the thick (or rather thin as in thinning my paints) of it, not picked up a brush in some time so this may hurt a bit until I get used to the feel of them again

Very solid just need something to pop a bit more in the bases.
If it wasn't for the gutter my mind would be homeless.

The squad looks great, even with these non-standard colors.
One thing that could be improved, and I'm missing it very much, is the highlighting. Where is it?
I mean, there are nice shadows, but no light reflections on the armours. A few such light spots here and there
would make shine the models even brighter! Another thing are the white edges on the green weapons - they are too
thick. Besides these two details, which can be easily corrected, the whole work looks very nicely.

Good job!

Even if I was expecting something more realistic, this manga-comics-like style looks great. Only thing I don't like is the green on their lighting claws and hammers. And I hope there will be some more freehanded lettering on that papyrus strips (scribes, or whatever it is :)
