Hello from Barton (newbie painter)

Post by Barton »

Ladyeyes suggested I join this site. Ladyeyes I took your model basing class at Origins 2009. The Wednesday 4pm slot, I was the only student.

FYI: to everyone she is a great teacher. It was a lot of fun and I learned much.

I am a newbie to painting, I have done a few figures (under 12). I am not an expert by a long shot. I am hoping to improve to the point were my figures are presentable. I have taking classes at Origins 2009, and will take some more at Gen Con 2009.
I am also learning to sculpt.

I have been told this site is different than CMON. I see that all ready.

Thanks all for the warm welcome. I will wait to post pictures. Must touch up my wife's Champions superhero character mini. He is my "best". Once the chips are repaired I will post a photo. He is okay... I know I can do better, but my wife loves my paint job.

I have some other mini's PICs I would like to post, one WIP so I will put that in WIP section. The other two are finished. Where is best place to post them on the forum?
