Tyranids painting contest was organized by Tim Huckleberry - onfortunately for GW staff only.

The gallery is interesting though

you can tell many things about them but they aren't too imaginative, are they?

Gw's trademark... The nicest are the green goblins with the groblin green bases

It seems that after the space marines we are getting hammered with tyranids...
And of course the winner of the contest is the tyranid that kills some space marines

Me personally like bugs!!!.... These boring bugs though. Looks like mostly straight out of the box configurations with very little imagination as stated before. Would expect a bit more conversion and presentability here instead of what I would expect to be pretty much table top examples.

Just my tuppence worth.

I also like spectacular Tyranid conversions, but this just isn't something you expect from such a big mini company

mmm these mini are quite "regular" with a lot of colorschemes but with a gaminig quality paint
