normally I will go again this year. I have planned a fantasy unit again, a new addition to my dark elf army, and a Dark elf Lord on Dragon... he'll be heavily converted and quite impressive to behold I think.

maybe I will do a duel too if I can find the time, or maybe a lotr single mini. I'll look for a 'weaker' category, I can't compete with stuff like goatman's or Fredy's. The dragon will be in a more heavy category though.

how big does a unit need to be?
because I'm working at a small 5-man unit of Eldar ATM

is that enough to participate?

for fantasy you need at least 10 models.

A 40k unit has no size minimum, but the unit has to be in the codex. so if the codex says that you can deploy a unit of 5 eldar warriors, then you can enter it. IF an eldar unit has to be at least 10 models, then you have to enter at least 10.

Yep, Fantasy Regiment is either -10 footters or -5 cavalry. Hey Mordred, then we will be rivals in this category as I've decided to enter this one instead of the Monster cat!

What I don't understand though is where they leave room for 'Big guys' in the Regiment category. I mean do you really have to have 10 oh let's say Ogres, Kroxigor etc, etc...

For a Fantasy unit the maximum size is 30. For 40.000 Squad I guess there are the same limitations as those printed in the Codex of which your entry is from.
